greendrinks.philadelphia February 07 meeting!


Hi greendrinks.philadelphia folks!

thanks for all your kindness and patience as we
again invite you all to attend our monthly green
grassroots social networking get-togethers over drinks

we're BACK ON for this 1st Wed of the month:

February 7th @ Standard Tap
6pm til 8pm-ish
Standard Tap
2nd Street + Poplar Street
in the Northern Liberties Community
of Philadelphia's Center City

and

we will meet DOWNSTAIRS in the open bar area
and casual dining area (don't fret: it is the SAME
menu as upstairs!!!) we will not be moving upstairs
but will rather congregate in the bar area + tables areas
DOWNSTAIRS ONLY. (thanks in advance!)

AND

Note: until further notice, we need POSTPONE the
greendrinks.philadelphia green guest lecture series until we can get our space needs,
reservation system, and a good day/evening to make our
guest lecture series work in a great way for everyone.

we thought we could just wing it and have it be casual...but we
learned the hard way that we DEFINITELY need a bit more organization
on this type of venture (our sincere apologies again and thanks to you
ALL for your patience and return to greendrinks! do give us another chance!)

greendrinks.philadelphia is beginning working on an idea
of a quarterly or bi-annual greendrinks.philadelphia SUMMIT
event instead where we all get together in a kind of workshop/casual conference
mode > with great drinks + food OF COURSE!
we just need to work out the logistics again >> so stand by for more
info...target date: April May ish of 2007....stand by for more info

in closing, some minimal homework for you greendrinks folks:

we would ask that you bring ONE new friend to our next get together...
a friend, a work colleague, a neighbor, a family member...

just one more attending greendrinks each month and adding to the
great community we are sharing together over some drinks once a month
(drinks can be non-alchoholic beverages too! no problem > we're interested in
the eco-talk that goes with the social networking!)
